Zerona is an easy, non-invasive, and FDA- approved treatment for removing fat from targeted body parts. While most clients target their tummy or love handles, it can be used on stubborn areas that may not respond to traditional diet and exercise.

The Zerona® treatment works through the use of a low-level cold laser that does two things:

1. The frequency of the emitted light emulsifies fatty (adipose) tissue

2. At the same time, the cell membranes of fatty tissue become temporarily porous, allowing the triglycerides and fatty acids from these cells to spill out into the interstitial space between cells; this excess fat is then converted to carbon dioxide and exhaled by the body during its ordinary course of detoxification

Some patients experience a slight warmth as the Zerona laser does its work, but it never gets hot or uncomfortable. Many clients say that taking the time to relax for 40 minutes and forget about the day’s stresses makes them feel more relaxed and energetic.

Zerona® laser is most effective when treatments are less than 72 hours apart (3 days). If there is more time between appointments, some of the released fat may be reabsorbed by the fat cells, defeating the purpose of treatment.
